With the dust now settled after Worcestershire’s handsome three day win over Kent in their opening home match of the 2026 campaign, it was a chance for Stephen and his team to reflect on what has been another gruelling off season.
Having been hit by a record six floods between October and March, producing such a quality cricket wicket and healthy outfield in the most adverse conditions is nothing short of a minor miracle.
Although he says “it would be easy to accept” the unique challenges the team face each year, Stephen took some time to explain how he and his team have once again defied the odds.
